Revitalising the Old Town Hall, Woolwich

Augarde & Partners was commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to support with bringing the Grade II listed Old Town Hall in Woolwich back into use as a centre for creative enterprise, economic growth and events.

The team assisted the council with identifying a commercial partner to lease the building and developing a viable business plan to reanimate this historic site as affordable town centre workspace and a civic building accessible for community and cultural use.

Our role included reviewing the council’s brief and KPIs for the building; taking the brief to market; supporting the bidding process; and supporting the council to identify a preferred operator to progress to agreement for lease stage.
