Whipps Cross Hospital Strategic Review

Augarde & Partners undertook a strategic review with partner Locality to assist east London’s Whipps Cross Hospital to understand and enhance its impact as an anchor public sector organisation as well as build structural and lasting partnerships with the community across West Essex, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.

Our approach was to review and analyse the social and economic needs of the area, but also involved extensive community-based initiatives. We engaged community organisations on how to work with the hospital and deliver social impact and establish a community forum for community leaders and health service practitioners. The forum’s purpose is to work together on strategies to increase community impact and support the hospital as it undertakes transformation activity across its services.
