Fore Street revitalisation

Augarde & Partners created a placemaking strategy to support LB Enfield’s Joyce & Snell’s Estate regeneration scheme and the revitalisation of Fore Street, “Meridian Water’s High Street”. The strategy established priorities for a sustainable mix of retail, food and beverage, creative workspace, meanwhile proposals, a new cultural hub building and a civic square. A&P gave the council a detailed set of recommendations to rejuvenate the high street, aligned to identified local needs, and to broaden the cultural, workspace and food and beverage offer.

LB Enfield retained A&P to support the scheme through to submission of its planning application in late 2022. The project is now moving through planning, driven by a range of local stakeholders taking the strategy forward.
