Augarde & Partners were commissioned by London Borough of Hackney and Arbeit Studios to review the social value of Trowbridge Gardens, an enterprise hub that seeks to deliver impact for the local community and economy as a result of a new model of management.
Trowbridge Gardens is owned by LBH. The council is running a seven year pilot to understand the impact that an affordable workspace operator model can deliver in an underutilised space. A&P, working alongside PRD, are undertaking a study involving all tenants and users of the space to capture its economic, social and environmental impacts. The results will provide the council with an evidence base to understand what can be achieved by taking a social value-based approach to commercial lettings.
