Hoo Penninsula Community Infrastructure Plan

Augarde & Partners and Urban Silence, in a team led by PRD, were commissioned by Medway Council to undertake a comprehensive study of community life and services on the Hoo Peninsula. This project focused on understanding the needs of residents, businesses, and local groups, while considering the Peninsula's current and future requirements. The goal was to create a Community Infrastructure Plan to guide and improve services across the region, particularly in community, culture, and leisure infrastructure.

The goal was to create a Community Infrastructure Plan that outlined strategic investments to support the area’s physical, economic, and social transformation and align with Medway Council’s Local Plan. The plan provided a clear, actionable blueprint for enhancing services and infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing population. It established a foundation for sustainable, community-focused development, future resource allocation and community action.
