Developing a social value property vehicle and affordable workspace plan for Park Royal
Augarde & Partners, in partnership with Architecture00, was commissioned by the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) to support the development of an Affordable Workspace Delivery Plan and Social Value Property Vehicle.
The team established the business case and implementation model for a new social value property vehicle to secure the pipeline of assets coming through the planning system. We developed the strategic case for the vehicle to hold ground floor assets in perpetuity for the benefit of the local economy. We identified the pipeline, assessed market need and developed a high-level transition plan and sustainable business model.
In addition, we worked with the local workspace provider network to develop a framework for affordable workspace and mechanisms to support the network in the area.
The socially-orientated property vehicle is being modelled for delivery and the affordable workspace framework was adopted.
