Alex Russell, Director

Alex is a pioneering practitioner in asset management for social good and workspace innovation. She has strong track record of delivering inclusive growth through establishing private, public and third sector partnerships to drive performance and facilitate change.  

Alex is working with the Greater London Authority and London Legacy Development Corporation to establish the Hackney Wick and Fish Island Community Development Trust, formed to secure affordable creative and local workspace in perpetuity within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park area. She was previously CEO of the Westway Trust where she secured £1.2m investment for regeneration across the 23-acre estate. Recent work includes working with WorkWild to form Margate’s Creative Land Trust and advising the Old Oak & Park Royal Development Corporation on its strategy for securing affordable workspace through a vehicle and inward investment. Alex is a retained consultant with Locality and advises the GLA’s Culture at Risk Team.
